Value Ambassadors taking over Lapland
Our Value Ambassadors 2023-2024 took a stunning trip to Lapland, Finland.
Nine fantastic Starians traveled to Lapland, Saariselkä as part of our annual Value Ambassador Program. This program recognizes Starians who truly live and breathe our values in an exemplary way, and what an incredible Staria spirit we got to experience on our trip together.
The program was packed with unforgettable experiences such as a husky safari, lunch in the Wilderness Village, adventurous snowmobile safari in Urunpää, and enjoying local delicacies from Lapland. The group also visited a local reindeer farm and enjoyed a reindeer safari, followed by a relaxing Finnish sauna session.
The trip was truly a great opportunity to step out of our comfort zones and strengthen our Staria spirit, celebrating and reflecting on what it means to be a Starian and what our values mean for us in everyday life.
What’s a Value Ambassador?
Each year all of our staff gets to nominate their coworkers as value ambassadors: a teammate who has shown Starian spirit and lived by our values. Then those candidates will be chosen by a committee based on the feedback given. The group will be taken to a destination where they can share their experiences and celebrate their achievements and their work that has been recognized by many.
