Veho Builds a Single Digital Backbone For Its European Automotive Business

Veho's major initiative to modernise its digital architecture connects importer and dealership operations, financial management and business data across all its markets, setting a new benchmark for digital transformation in the automotive sector.

In automotive retail and distribution, operational systems and financial platforms have traditionally evolved separately. Importer and dealership processes such as vehicle sales, service operations, warranty claims and spare parts logistics have typically been managed through specialised Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Importer Management Systems (IMS), while financial reporting and consolidation have been handled in separate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.

As the automotive industry continues to transform, Veho, an importer, leading retailer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz, smart, BYD passenger cars and Daimler commercial vehicles in the Nordic and Baltic regions, is undertaking a comprehensive digital transformation to modernise its business systems.

Veho is partnering with Staria and Advectus to replace a fragmented landscape of legacy systems, including an ERP environment that has served the business for more than 20 years, with the Advectus Automotive Business Management Platform, natively built on Oracle NetSuite. The initiative creates a single, unified environment for both operational and financial data, enabling employees across all markets to transition to a modern cloud-based platform designed to support future growth.

From legacy silos to a next-generation digital backbone

This initiative goes far beyond implementing a new software solution. It represents a strategic transformation of Veho's business architecture, requiring strong project management, deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of the complexities of international automotive operations.

Staria, a leading international NetSuite partner, is spearheading the implementation across Veho's markets. Together with Advectus, Veho is establishing a unified platform that brings operational processes and financial management into a single ecosystem.

Rather than integrating multiple standalone systems, Veho will benefit from a cohesive solution built on a shared data model. Operational transactions generated through importer and dealership activities, including vehicle sales, service orders, warranty processing and parts movements, will flow directly into the financial system. This provides real-time visibility across the organisation, significantly reducing manual reconciliation and enabling more consistent and reliable reporting.

The cloud-based platform supports multi-entity, multi-country and multi-currency operations, allowing Veho to standardise core processes while seamlessly accommodating local accounting practices and regulatory requirements across its European markets.

Consolidating systems into a single cloud environment simplifies maintenance, reduces complexity and creates a strong foundation for the continuous development of business processes. Because the architecture is built on a single, extensible platform and database, Veho is also well positioned to take advantage of future innovations. As Staria and Advectus develop advanced AI-driven capabilities for the automotive sector, Veho will be able to activate these as native extensions within the platform, eliminating the need for fragmented third-party solutions.

“The automotive industry is undergoing fundamental change, and we need a digital foundation that enables us to operate as one Veho across all our markets. By connecting our operational processes and financial management on a single platform, we improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making while creating the scalability needed for future growth. Together with Staria and Advectus, we are building a modern digital backbone that will support our employees, strengthen the customer experience and position Veho for the opportunities ahead.”

“Veho’s transformation demonstrates what is possible when automotive operations and financial management are built on a single cloud platform and data model. The Advectus Automotive Business Management Platform, built natively on Oracle NetSuite, brings DMS and IMS capabilities together with ERP in one integrated environment. This enables Veho to standardize core automotive processes across markets while maintaining the flexibility required for local operations. We are proud to be part of this transformation and to work with Veho and Staria in creating a scalable digital backbone for Veho’s continued growth.”
