After careful consideration and research, PSV embarked on a critical strategic transformation with the support of Staria. This technological investment laid the groundwork for more advanced digital solutions and a more sophisticated approach to business intelligence and planning, which Staria has continued to work closely with PSV to provide.
With the business scaling rapidly and its operations becoming increasingly complex, Staria helped PSV standardise its processes to reduce points of failure, enhance demand planning to always ensure stock availability, and optimise the utilisation of its 150+ fitters across the UK and Ireland.
The need for data-driven visualisation
To maintain its rapid response times and first-class service, PSV needed to equip its teams with better real-time insights and visualisation of their complex and ever-changing datasets.
As a result, Staria implemented Naviloq; its powerful BI and planning platform integrated with NetSuite. Previously, PSV’s reporting was an entirely manual process, requiring 3 full days of effort per month, equating to 36 days per year. Due to its complexity and time cost, reports were often generated only fortnightly, which significantly limited real-time oversight.
However, Staria has since automated PSV’s entire process, reducing reporting time from 12 hours to just 10 minutes. This has given PSV’s leadership a real-time, data-driven view of key business metrics, allowing for more agile and informed decision-making, ensuring they never run the risk of stock outages.
We can now run reports in just 10 minutes, saving us 12 hours of manual work every week. That’s three days a month, and around 36 days a year of manpower saved. But it’s not just about the reports; we need BI to visualise it for us and spell out everything we need to know in an easy-to-understand, digestible way. That’s what allows us to do what we do so efficiently.
Workforce optimisation: A new level of efficiency
One of the most complex areas for PSV is managing the operational installation side of the business, with over 150 fitters travelling across the UK and Ireland.
Staria’s support has enabled PSV to optimise their workforce utilisation by tracking real-time movements of their fleet of vans via an API linked directly to NetSuite, providing insights into how fitters spend their time travelling and working.
This data has allowed PSV to create operational timelines to identify patterns and ensure optimal allocation of resources, reducing unnecessary travel and downtime, and allowing fitters to focus on high-value tasks.

I can't imagine that anyone would buy NetSuite and not want the BI tool and a team of people that can understand your data and interpret what you want and build out these reports like Naviloq does. I believe that BI is, and should be, sold as a service. With all the things that are available out there at the moment, they require technical expertise to make them a success.
Future planning with augmented reality and AI
PSV’s journey with Staria and Naviloq is far from over. Their next project involves launching augmented reality glasses that will revolutionise the way their technicians work in the field. With these glasses, technicians can show auditors live footage of the work they’re doing, allowing remote experts to provide guidance in real time.
Recordings will instantly be stored in NetSuite, enhancing training, auditing, and compliance. PSV can audit fitters live in the field, cutting down on the need for physical audits that previously required 100+ mile journeys. PSV is continually investing in cutting-edge technology to ensure they can deliver unrivalled stock and fitting.
We’re doing a lot of really creative things with Staria and Naviloq. The augmented reality project will save us a significant amount of time, money, and resources.
