Value Ambassador Program 

The Staria Value Ambassador Program is a peer-to-peer recognition initiative that celebrates Starians who truly embody the company’s core values—Courage, Commitment, and Collaboration—in their everyday work. Each year, colleagues nominate individuals both from within their own team and from other teams, highlighting concrete examples of value-driven actions. The selection is based not only on the number of nominations but especially on the impact and quality of the justifications provided. 

Those chosen as Value Ambassadors are recognized publicly and are invited to participate in an annual Value Ambassador trip, which includes both official and fun activities. The program aims to foster a positive culture, strengthen the sense of community, and encourage everyone to live Staria’s values in practice.

Space for work and life

We believe great work starts with a life that works.  

Whether you’re joining us from your home office or working across borders, our hybrid model is designed for real-life flexibility. We don’t have fixed office days for the entire organization; instead, each team decides together how and when to meet in person, ensuring the approach supports their goals and priorities. To strengthen our Staria community, we regularly come together at our offices for monthly breakfasts, team days, and other events. We also host a Staria Orientation Day every quarter at our Helsinki headquarters, where new employees can meet their colleagues and members of our leadership team. 

Remote work is highly valued and works well at Staria. In some roles, it’s even possible to work fully remotely. When working remotely, your primary workplace is your home address. If you wish to work from another location—for example, abroad for a period—this can be discussed with your Team Leader. Currently, Staria allows remote work from EU/EEA countries, the Philippines, and other countries with an adequate level of data protection.
